Week 9. Ladies week

Category A Sprint Championship

Attention all racers and cycling enthusiasts! Week 9 is finally here, and it’s shaping up to be an exciting and empowering week of racing. Not only do we have thrilling competitions lined up, but it’s also a special week dedicated to our incredible ladies!

During Week 9, we are proud to present “Ladies Week” where our female riders will take center stage. In a show of strength and skill, the ladies will be participating in an Omnium, competing for the highly coveted Regional C+ title. It’s a chance for these talented athletes to showcase their versatility and prowess across multiple disciplines, leaving us in awe of their capabilities.

But that’s not all. We have an exhilarating second race planned exclusively for the ladies—a race format that’s new to our track: the Derny. In this unique event, riders from Categories A and B will act as personal dernys to the ladies, assisting and guiding them around the track. It’s a powerful display of camaraderie and support, creating an unforgettable experience for all involved.

We want to extend a special shout-out to our dedicated volunteers who help make these races possible. Your contributions and assistance are invaluable in creating a safe and thrilling racing environment. We couldn’t do it without you, and we are incredibly grateful for your commitment.

In the spirit of intense competition, Cat A riders will take to the track to showcase their raw power and lightning-fast sprinting abilities. This Sprint Championship is the pinnacle of speed and strategy, as riders battle it out for the coveted title. Get ready for heart-pounding moments and thrilling head-to-head matchups that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

Meanwhile, Cat B and Cat C riders will join forces in a dynamic collaboration that promises to create an electric atmosphere on the track. This combined category race will showcase the talent and determination of riders from both groups, fostering camaraderie and friendly competition. It’s an opportunity for riders to push their limits, learn from one another, and build connections within our vibrant racing community.
